The BESN X Community, in partnership with the City of Toledo, is thrilled to announce the successful start of our summer programs in Visual Arts, Esports, and Game Development. With over 40 enthusiastic students taking their first steps toward careers in the esports and gaming industries, the excitement is palpable, and the future looks bright!
A Summer of Creativity and Innovation
Our summer programs are designed to provide youth aged 12-18 with hands-on experience and knowledge in visual arts, esports, and game development. From sketching and painting to coding and competitive gaming, our diverse curriculum ensures that every student finds a way to express their creativity and hone their skills.
Visual Arts Program:
Students are exploring various artistic mediums, learning the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and mixed media. With guidance from experienced artists, our young creatives are developing their unique styles and preparing for a potential future in the arts.
Esports Program:
Our esports program focuses on competitive gaming, strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Students are training in popular games, learning from seasoned coaches, and participating in thrilling tournaments. This program not only aims to improve their gaming skills but also to teach valuable life skills such as discipline, communication, and leadership.
Game Development Program:
Budding game developers are diving into the world of game design and programming. Using industry-standard tools like Unity and Unreal Engine, students are creating their own games from scratch. They are learning coding, game mechanics, and design principles, setting a strong foundation for future careers in the gaming industry.
