BESN X Community Takes the National Stage at Meta

At BESN X Community, we've always believed that communities should help shape the future of technology not simply adapt to it.
That belief has now been recognized on a national stage.
BESN X Community has been selected as a Meta AI Glasses Impact recipient, recognizing our work to expand access to artificial intelligence, accessibility, gaming, workforce development, and digital innovation.
This recognition isn't simply about receiving support from one of the world's leading technology companies.
It's validation that community-based organizations have an essential role in helping people understand, access, and benefit from emerging technologies.
As part of this recognition, BESN X Community participated in Meta's national community event, where Executive Director Tim Fields represented our organization during the Strengthening Communities panel.
The discussion focused on one important question:
How do we make sure AI benefits everyone?
That question sits at the heart of everything BESN X Community does.
Through our STEM Center & Labs, workforce development programs, esports initiatives, AI education, and creative technology experiences, we're helping youth and adults build the skills needed for tomorrow's careers.
This momentum continues growing through our collaboration with Global Game Jam, giving aspiring developers and creators opportunities to learn from one of the world's largest game development communities.
Together, these initiatives represent more than individual programs.
They represent a vision where every neighborhood has access to innovation, every student has opportunities to explore technology, and every community has the chance to participate in building the future.
National recognition from Meta strengthens that vision.
